Driving Licence Ireland

Posted on  by

Under this agreement between Ireland and the UK, if you hold an Irish licence and you are disqualified from driving for committing a serious offence in the UK, you may also be disqualified from driving in Ireland. The District Court can make an order to disqualify you from driving in Ireland for the offence that was committed in the UK. Embassy in Dublin cannot issue a letter of entitlement for the purpose of obtaining an Irish driver’s license, as we are unable to confirm the validity of state issued documentation – including driver’s licenses. We can, however, notarize an affidavit in which you can swear to the validity of your driver’s license.
